Jiří Tydlitát is a graduate at the University of Pardubice (2008), diploma thesis "Nitrogen ligands based on hexahydro-1H-benzo[d]imidazole". In 2014 he defended his dissertation entitled "Synthesis and Application of Optically Active Imidazoline Derivatives". After that, he has briefly been employed as researcher in TOSEDA Company that focuses on development and production of special polymeric systems. Since December 2014, he began academic career as assistant professor at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Technology at the University of Pardubice. He pursued two internships at the University of Łódź (Poland) in the group of Professor G. Mlostoń and at the University of Warwick (UK) under guidance of Professor P. Sadler. His current scientific interest involves synthesis of new polycyclic (hetero)aromatics with application in optoelectronics and photoredox catalysis. He’s co-author of 9 articles with 39 citations and possesses h-index 4.
